Putin’s Annual Phone-In Marathon Postponed For First Time in 18 years

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s annual phone marathon, Direct Line, is not going to be held this June for the primary time in nearly twenty years.

It is the primary time that this system, which see strange residents communicate on to the Russian chief about their each day issues, has been delayed since 2004. 

In a press release, Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov reassured reporters that the occasion would happen at a later date.

The authorities introduced final week that Putin might maintain his phone-in marathon through the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum between June 15-18. 

Another common presidential occasion, Putin’s handle to Russia’s Federal Assembly, was additionally postponed in April, with no dates but given for its return.
