Mistaken to be from a rich household, an 11-year-old boy was kidnapped for ransom by a safety guard and his sister-in-law. It later turned out that he was the son of a BMTC driver.

DCP East Division Bhimashankar Guled mentioned the sufferer, a Class V pupil, was kidnapped whereas he was enjoying exterior his home in Hennur on Tuesday night.
